“Dear Everyone,
Jewel is wonderfully amazing, brilliantly intellectual, radiantly optimistic, and will always and forever undeniably gorgeous. But stop making her cry! Apparently she can’t take a compliment ;] ♥ “-Crystal Drummond
I couldn’t help but smile at this compliment, it was really sweet and ”m so honored to call her my best-friend.
In the past month I sit down. I get on facebook, I look at various things, I see the typical 1st world problems rants and the “Today I ate breakfast” kinds of things. Silly pictures some interesting, some pointless. Then, nearly every other day, I see something from you. And it stands out. It’s different. I read what you have to say, I see what you have to post and it’s.. positive.. It’s.. inquisitive.. it’s.. intellectual.. Very unusual, and in my opinion one of the greatest signs of character I’ve ever seen. You’re different. It’s always a pleasant thing to see. What I want to know is: What is your philosophy? What drives the force behind your positive attitude and seemingly endlessly radiant optimism? -Preston Snyder
My answer to this was the following:
I literally teared up to this message, it was a beautiful acknowledgement that I will treasure always.
“Ohh my goodness Preston, That is incredibly sweet of you to say. It really enlightened me in ways most people can’t even imagine, but judging by your brilliant mind I have seen in the time I’ve known I can sure tell that you are probably the rare few that will understand.
To answer your questions in the simplest form I can. Which keep in mind I would love to answer the rest or anymore you have in person sometime. What is my philosophy? Well, you seen that could mean alot of entirely different things. Religion, what I believe in, how I believe the world should be, the hidden secrets of it I have found out, the limitless possibilities of wonder and thought I have put in building my philosophies.
So if you must know choose one.
As for what drives the force behind my positive attitude? Well Honestly,.. in simple terms. The art of life. “earth” without “art” is just “eh”.. Life is a kaleidoscope of colors and possibilities that can create ripples in the water or a title wave in the ocean. Life is beautiful, stunning, talents, people, Cultures, Knowledge, experience, etc. Even in the way a child smiles.. Spirituality has also helped, connecting with god, Connecting my soul and the universe, I feel we are all one with it and that we are all beautiful lights… Life is Stunning in all ways. I would rather go through it, experiencing every second and chance I get. Inspiring, and bringing joy to others, spreading art and saving souls. I want to let the world see life through my eyes. Brilliant and still very much a painting that’s unfinished. WE have the power to paint the rest. or at least a segment. I found myself, who I am and I’m willing to share that with the world.”
I Love your new profile picture, it’s very beautiful and inspiring. This past week has been the worst. literally. and i have been questioning alot lately.
